WP Rocket is a caching WordPress plugin. While most caching plugins have been free and often complex to setup, WP Rocket strives to make configuration easy so that a speed boost can be experienced without fuss. Google is now using loading time as a ranking factor, so a fast-loading website is important for maximizing search traffic. This caching plugin is worth considering for many reasons.

It has a full set of performance features, some found in other caching WordPress plugins and some not. A few features that stand out as notable are page caching, GZIP compression, browser caching, minification, image optimization and CDN support. One of its more interesting features is cache preloading, which causes crawls your site in advance to cache the pages before a visitor or search bot makes a hit.

Other notable features of WP Rocket are Google Fonts Optimization (combining multiple font requests into a single request), LazyLoad (images load only as the user scrolls them into view) and built-in consideration for popular e-commerce plugins. For example, it will automatically exclude cart and checkout pages from the cache for WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, iThemes exchange and others. This means less configuration for you.

If you’re building WordPress sites for clients, the white label option may be interesting to you. It lets you customize the plugin with your branding and removes mentions of WP Rocket. There is a money back guarantee.

Reviews

  • From F to A by installing and checking four boxes

I wrote a review of WP Rocket on the Pro Plugin Directory blog:

    https://proplugindirectory.com/wp-rocket-review/

In summary, I did find it easy to achieve a significant speed boost. While it did not give the boost I was expecting with zero configuration, it did take this site from a speed grade of F to A according to GTmetrix by installing and spending about 20 seconds checking off four options in the basic tab.

I saw these improvements for Pro Plugin Directory:

    - Load time cut in half
    - Requests almost cut in half
    - Total download size reduced to 25%

Based on my experience with a popular free caching plugin, WP Rocket is easier to use and I would recommend it to users of all skill levels.

  • Few clicks and sites fly

After “fighting” with many cache plugins for WP I tried WP ROCKET and can not imagine to use something else for cache.
Just few clicks and it works with excellent performance results. WP ROCKET doing this WordPress way without tons of options and settings. It is my another “must use” plugin for every site.
I m big fan of plugins, which works right after installation and activation without spending whole night in setting panel and this piece is exactly like that.
